What I'm Building Right Now: Four Projects

What I'm Building Right Now: Four Projects, One Page

Books and tools. All of them in motion.

For a long time the work lived in separate corners. A series in progress. A free serial. A side project that kept growing. A tool built for other writers. Now it lives in one place. The Projects page shows all of it, and it will change as the work does.

Here is what is on it.

Earth Unbound: the series

Earth Unbound is military sci-fi about first contact with a war that was already ancient when humanity arrived.

Earth is pulled into an interstellar conflict it never knew existed. Captain Michael Denton and his crew have to fight it with tactics, not luck. Multiple alien species. Old technology nobody fully understands. Stakes that climb with every chapter.

Book one, Legacy Rising, is complete. It is still seeking a publisher, so there is no release date to announce, and I will not pretend otherwise. In the meantime, you can meet the crew and explore the universe.

Please Hold While Your Character Loads: the free serial

A comedic LitRPG, serialized free on Royal Road.

He was a normal guy right up until he walked out the door and noticed that everything was digital. Now he has a class, a stat sheet, and a very bad attitude.

Dry, sparky, and written in the spirit of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The world is built from the ground up, and the chapters are free to read as they unfold.

The Meridian Cycle: the one in the works

A dystopian superhero and villain series.

In a city that needs heroes to survive, the line between hero and villain depends on who is writing the report.

That is the idea, and it is enough to build on. More on this one as it takes shape.

StoryWright: the tool for writers

StoryWright is the offline-first series bible.

No accounts. No subscriptions. Your worlds stay yours. Design a world, organize it, expand it, and keep every detail in one place while the story grows around it.

Built for writers of every genre, including the gritty ones.
